Long Bio

Robin Hall holds an MFA in the Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her debut picture book, THE LITTLEST WEAVER, released Fall 2023 from Familius, and is distributed by Abrams Publishing.

She believes we are all born with an innate need to create, whether it be the best bread on the planet, a cozy quilt to keep our loved ones warm, or words on a page.

She is a member of the Society of Children’Â’s Book Writers and Illustrators and has a compulsive need to have a book with her at all times.

Robin is a marathon runner, biker (road and mountain), rock climber, backpacker, softballer, and has a mean volleyball serve. A lover of all things creative, she dabbles in sewing, quilting, weaving, basket making, woodworking, knitting, crochet, and wire art (and more, but this list is getting a little long).

She grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and lived in New York, Utah, Israel, Virginia, Mississippi, and California before coming back to her favorite place to call home.

She teaches creative writing to children, yoga to all ages, and lives in North Carolina on a tiny farm with one husband, five children, four dogs, three looms, and too many chickens to count.
